🔢 Bayesian Analysis of Syntopy

Here is the documentation of my statistical assignment for the course Bayesian Statistics.

I analyseed the simulated data with R, using the library Rethinking. I simulated syntopy for two spatial scales using Fisher’s non-central hypergeometric distribution and than I tried to estimate the true values with models in Stan.

Here you can check my final assignement of Spatial Data Science for Social Geography course, which is a computational essey written in 🐍python using JupyterLab.

I made the route-based analysis of species richness across the contiguous United States, using The North American Breeding Bird Survey (BBS) data - routes as the observational units and combination of environmental (NDVI) and spatial (elevation, LONG, LAT) predictors.
